How to Attend a Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week came to an end and, as a stylist and content creator, I had the opportunity to attend diverse shows, such as those by Latin designers: Carlos Pineda, at FDLA (Fashion Designer of Latin America); consolidated international names like Alice + Olivia and Sherri Hill; and emerging proposals like Lost Pattern NYC.
And, although we've all heard about the relevance of these weeks, there is still confusion and misinformation about exactly what a Fashion Week is, why the so-called Big Four are so important, and, above all, how a person can access this experience.

Hi Diva, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I am a celebrity stylist based in San Diego, California. I’ve been in the fashion industry for more than 15 years. First as a marketer and then as a Stylist. I moved to this country 2 years ago, and being honest, the cultural transition has been shocking. New languages, new traditions, and new challenges

In 2023, I finally successfully transitioned from a career in marketing to becoming a celebrity stylist. Given my extensive experience, both in marketing and styling, I likely bring a unique perspective to my work, and that is what my clients love.

Perhaps that, San Diego is a vibrant city with its own distinct fashion scene, and after two years, my background and skills have contributed significantly to the local industry.

This is why I am starting a side business called My Pipl Collective, an online shop that provides and promotes unique fashion for unique pipl in the country.
